I was at Franklin (Ind.) Walmart today. Guess what? No .22 ammo at all. Talked to the department manager and she said they haven't seen any for 6 weeks. About all I saw was shotgun shells!:(
I opened up the forum this morning and clicked on Alamo Ammo's ad. .22 long rifles are $240/ 550 for both Winchester and Federal, What is up with this? Thye last I knew, they were about $20. I guess I'm way behind the times,:(

Use a double pole 50 amp breaker with 6 gauge copper wire, If you use aluminum wire, you will have to go up to a larger gauge and use an anti-oxidant on the joints.
Great buy! If it's like mine you will want to shoot copper coated bullets. The plain lead bullets on mine jamb on the feed ramp. If you can hold them, they will shoot like a rifle!
Great little rifle. I bought mine in the early 70's at Deer and Son's, Franklin. It has served me well all these years with just a little cleaning. Oh, and the price..... $69.95!!
I reload and use bullets cast from straight wheel weights. I get leading in the forcing cone of this revolver. Anyone have suggestions on how I might remedy this situation? Do you think they are to hard / soft?
Anyone heard of an M.J. Greener shotgun? I bought one last summer at the Bargersville flea market. 12 ga, not in to bad of a shape as some I have seen. Got it home and it had black powder proofs on barrels. Still trying to come up with some good bp load combo's using plastic hulls. Can anyone...
