      Gun Shops In Lafayette

      What is the state of Guns & Gear? Last time I was in there it looked like they were indeed closing up the "guns" side of the shop. I have never been more uncomfortable in a gun store as I was in there. Very strange vibe that I've never experienced before.....

      OK... I have heard that since you change modes with "half-clicks" of the button you sometimes change modes when turning the light on and off. Any experience with that?

      Can anyone suggest a weapon mounted light with a strobe function? I was looking at either the Streamlight TLR-1 or TLR-3...... No strobe there!

      I believe I hold my light exactly like you are describing... I hold the flashlight in my non-dominant fist with the bottom of the firearm grip resting on that arm.

      Gun mounted lights for Home Defense

      I'm guessing better searching skills will find something on this, but..... I've tried to fire a pistol one handed while holding a flashlight in the other.... I cannot shoot accurately. Having my light and gun point in the same direction at all times will minimize target identification errors...

      Oh, also forgot... You Fenix guys.... Is it hard to get the hang of the Fenix twisting mode selection? Seems like it would twist in your pocket and be in the wrong mode when you go for it in a hurry.

      SOG Seal Pup Elite

      I guess I don't have much experience with SOG. Does anyone use one of these for "hard" use, such as law enforcement or military? Would you trust your life to it if you had to? Has anyone tried the upgraded sheath that SOG makes for this puppy? (molded plastic vs. the nylon)

      Intimidation of serrations on SD knife?

      What is everyone's opinion of serrated blades on knifes used for self defense? Is it more intimidating to a BG? Since I carry a knife which is strictly for self defense, I don't care that serrations are utterly useless for most other tasks.
