what is it that's needed? my cousin works for a big co-op, so I might be able to find something. And is the oxidizer the white part or the gray part? If they gray, 50lbs is enough for a lifetime (or one hell of a weekend).

white vinegar also works surprisingly well, and its cheap/non-toxic. soak it overnight, and it will get a lot of it off. you'll want to paint it right away though, or it will flash rust.
