When it's not minors wearing them, I prefer them to be long enough to cover everything, but short enough to keep things interesting. This was the same approach I took when writing papers in college (I call it the Skirt philosophy).
When I finished building my AR, I said the same thing to myself. I first wanted to get good with irons, then I would consider an optic. If I'm shooting without magnification, I'd much rather shoot irons.
I've thought the same thing for awhile. When I go on long rides (bicycle), I sometimes end up cutting through not great areas and wish I had my gun with me.
I feel bad for all of those that live outside of Chicago having live by laws that Chicago pushes through. The rest of the state is much like indiana, but with the population center being Chicago, they have no chance of swaying the vote.
One came on my Stag upper and its very good quality. Would a flip up sight be easier than taking it off to put on optics, sure, but it feels pretty solid and i like that about it.
I agree with you. Personally, I like that the city looks nice, that the grass in the middle of Keystone is mowed, and the hanging baskets of flowers from light poles are watered. I spend a good deal of time and money making my landscaping and home look nice and I'm glad that my community does...
I had a coworker from London that couldn't understand why we cared about guns so much. There was nothing I could do to help him understand. He was of the mindset that no government in the modern world could be evil.
