      I had a similar thing happen to me 10 years ago, had my ltch at the time. I hired a lawyer and told him i would plead guilty to a charge that did not cause me to loose my ltch, so he got it changed to battery. best money i ever spent on a lawyer.

      There are laws in place that punish employers for hiring illegals. I say enforce that law, fine every contractor, hotel operator, restaurant and factory. Enough fines will solve the budget deficiet and end unemployment. The illegals will self deport if employers are afraid to hire them...
