Laminating is easy and costs less than $2 at staples. Is it really that big of a deal as long as it works? How many times are you actually going to pull it out of your wallet?
Yep, I was mistaken and thought the OP was talking about the Lee Challenger press. Guess I had one too many beers when I posted that response last night. Sorry. Just goes to show that you should always take any advice that is found on the interwebs with a grain of salt. :):
The lee classic loader is the press that I use to reload 45acp, 9mm and 44 mag. Its more than adequate to reload what u want it to. It just depends on how fast u want to do it. Its a great press to learn the basics of reloading.
Oh, they said the paperwork was filed to dismiss the request for a special prosecutor. I guess the story may not have been 100% factual?

I will agree with this also. My wife was looking for a new gun a few months ago. She and I looked at a lot of different ones and each time she would point at one and I would say why I wouldn't want that one but she kept insisting on them. Finally she got irritated and went to the gun store on...
So the Mrs. and I are going to see a concert at the Morris Performing Arts Center in South Bend on Friday. Does anyone have any experience with carrying there? I plan on CC and was wondering if they have metal detectors that you have to walk through before entering? I hate going to things...
That's a really cool find. It's just too bad that some of those drawings aren't very legible. I'd love to take up the challenge of modeling this in 3D CAD. Might be a possible project in the future....
I agree. You'll end up on the kitchen table. Until we move, my reloading set up is a 2'x4'x 3/4" piece of plywood with my press mounted on it that gets c-clamped to the kitchen table. It has become an almost permanent fixture in the dining room which makes my wife ecstatic. haha :D
I've read that a lot of people will put a little flitz polish in their media or something similar. I just use a typical metal polish that you can find at any hardware store or Walmart. Make sure to run the tumbler for a little while after putting the polish in before you put the brass in or...
I bought the lee anniversary kit to start with. I thought about getting the turret press but I decided that the price of the single stage was too good to pass up when it was on sale awhile ago at Midway. I'm really only in it as a hobby and not to do huge volumes so the single stage works...
Another pointer that I failed to read/learn beforehand when tumbling is not to tumble 45 with 9mm. It seems common sense after the doing it but I failed to think... lol The 9mm fits nicely inside the .45 and after tumbling and having the media get compressed in the 45 brass along with the 9mm...
I have this tumbler: "NEW" Case Tumbler w/ FREE Media Holds 600 9mm Brass | eBay It's low cost and seems to be holding up well even after forgetting about it and leaving it on all night and day during work. I'm fairly new to reloading but i've put a few thousand through the tumbler for at least...
I went there too. The brass was def on the high end. I was looking for more pistol reload components. Besides brass there didn't seem to be a whole lot. Did pick up 100 45ACP speer hollow point boolits for $10, a free metal ammo box and a $4 wood box. It was a long wait in the rain before they...
