      Sorry about that. Saying 'He could have gotten away with it if he just...' seemed to advocate it to me. If you didn't mean that, I apologize. I think we can both agree that if people get away with stealing stuff from vendors, the event will turn to crap. Personally I'd like to keep the show.

      I just laugh at stuff like this. The increase in gun permits, gun sales, ammo sales, etc. is a much more definite and clear indication that the majority of the public doesn't agree with that at all.

      The Ruger 10/22 is brand new, with less than 100 rounds through it. I'll check the extractor - but mainly I was just wanting to hear how you guys clear the chamber with a bad round/jam. I like the wooden dowel idea, but I'm just a n00b. Maybe I'm being too paranoid, but using anything metal...

      Going from CCI (not that CCI is the best in the world) to some cheap bulk .22 ammo, I had some jams in a 10/22. What do you guys generally use when a bullet gets stuck in the chamber or you get a missfire - to get the bullet out? My manuals say a wooden dowel, but I wondered if you guys...

      I know they're a bit more expensive, but gander mountain has a bunch of relatively cheap bags to shoot on. Just saw about 5-6 different styles on Sat.

      Awesome. They had some cheap 2 1/2 federal slugs at Gander Mountain today :) $3.30 a box I think?

      If I have a 3" chamber on a single shot slug gun, can you use shorter 2 1/2" ammo? The manual just says 3" but I was unsure if that meant nothing longer than 3". Thanks for the shotgun n00b help.
