The last 1500 A young man observed the no loaded gun signs & promptly removed his mag from his S&W m&p outside and went in ,paid and proceeded to the check in table ,handed his pistol to the nice officer ...barrel first ,he forgot about the round in the chamber,officer went nuts & told him that he had pointed a loaded weapon directly at him & had no business with a firearm ,felt bad for the kid but he did screw up .I did learn there is some etiquitte with handing a firearm to someone ,finger off trigger , grip first.Tried this at this 1500 & lucky me got the same officer. He made the comment on how that not many people hand a gun to him in that manner ,he seemed to appreciate the technique
