PSA Glock Lower 9mm AR build question

I would think that any Colt style 9mm upper will work on your Palmetto lower. BUT, you must have a bolt cut to work with Glock mags. So, in other words, the bolt is the main difference between Glock mag and Colt type 9mm AR's. You can have a Colt style bolt machined to work with either setup.

Anyone ever use 700-X for .44 Magnum?

I just recently began loading 44 mag. 700X is a fast powder for 44 magnum, I would think. I have used 700X for other calibers and dislike it because of poor metering. found some data here 429p_3_180.

New Frontier Armory 9mm lower magazines

Glock 9mm models 17, 17L, 19, 26, 34,and 43 (single stack mag). The 17, 17L and 34 all have same size grip frame and come with 17 round magazines. Model 19 is smaller with a 15 round magazine. And the 26 is, or was, the baby Glock, 10 round mag. The single stack 43 is smaller yet. Also, some...

I have a Rock Island .45 5". Having trouble with slide locking back before empty. Could be me touching slide lever, not sure. Had it for a few months. Cost is good.

50 Beo as an Indiana deer rifle.

I have a small amount of 50 Beowulf knowledge. I have handloaded a few rounds. As far as damage to game, 50 Beowulf is like a 12 gauge slug. I think Hornady SST? 12 gauge slugs use a bullet that could be loaded in a Beowulf round. Not sure of difference in Velocity. One thing I have had...

      9mm AR build thoughts ?....

I am building A Quarter Circle 10 Glock mag AR lower. There are machine marks visible through the finish, very disappointing. I avoid SBR because of time and cost. Maybe someday? One problem with 9mm AR's is breaking bolt catches. The bolt only needs to just move past the BHO. I made a spacer...

Is this a decent log splitter?

I have used a Chinese made splitter from Rural King with a two way wedge. It is was about half the price of the amazon model you linked to. It split everything I had tried. Also, very easy to clear wood stuck to the wedge, unlike a stationary wedge. And the two way splitters are more compact...

      Yet another powder question...

I have used PROMO with good results. PROMO load data is the same as Red Dot by weight. Volume of these powders at equal weights is different though. I would use Red Dot if the price is right.

      9mm Reloading

PROMO is a low cost powder I like. It is similar to Red Dot. I think PROMO is only available in 8lb. jug. Great in 9mm with plated and lead bullets I have loaded in the past. I remember buying 8lbs. for $70 - $80, probably never see that again. I have used 700X. It seems dirty and difficult to...

      357 rifle

I have shot Marlin (1894?) with 38's. It worked fine. As quiet as a .22 rifle. Also have shot the Legacy PUMA, made by Rossi. It was a stainless model. It would not shoot to point of aim. Needed a taller front sight. Never shot 38's. And a Henry Big Boy .357. Excellent shooter. Heavier than...

      RCBS Chargemaster 1500 Combo

I considered that. I ended up powering the dispenser motor so that it works like an electric powder trickler. Basically, I have knob that varies the speed of the dispenser. I do not use it often.

I bought a Chargemaster 1500 new in 2006. The dispenser started acting up and finally quit working. I still use the digital scale though.
