That doesn't surprise me. They called me about 1:00 in the afternoon. I showed up at around 3:00 and the person who called me wasn't there. The lady who helped me didn't know anything about the paperwork, and the only thing that saved me is that I could see it through the window on the desk...
Jeez, it knocked all the wheels off? Now that's a collision. :D
Glad there are services like you to make things "all better". I'm filing your company in my mental rolodex.
I'm glad to see this question. I emailed Huntertown Arms on Wednesday with the exact same question (vibratory tumbler, crushed walnut, aluminum baffles) and hadn't heard anything back yet. I probably would have posted the question here today.
My family didn't shoot when I was growing up, but as soon as I was legally able, I bought myself a bolt action, tube fed JC Higgins .22 from the pawn shop for $65. I still take it out once in a while and it still shoots great. It would be the last gun I ever sold, and it would be a sad day indeed.
Since Monday was a holiday, they missed that mark. They called me yesterday afternoon (Tuesday) saying it was ready. I picked it up and shipped it off to Atlanta with a money order.
Now the waiting begins for real.
Question for those of you shooting subsonic .22s with suppressors: What brand of ammo do you find works best in a variety of semi-autos? I'll be shooting through a Beretta 21a, Ruger 22/45 and 10/22 with a Guardian. My Beretta has always been temperamental on ammo but I'm hoping the can will...
I suspect I know what range you used (did they sell you Blazer .22s?). I rented the same gun last week and it ran just fine. It probably had a lot of use, I think they were running a special on rentals last week. Probably didn't get cleaned for a few thousand rounds.
If/when I buy a Saiga 7.62x39 do I need to watch out for a "California-compliant" version that only takes 10-round mags or anything like that? I remember that some WASR versions had that "feature".
I have, except for the fact that it would cost nearly as much as a new 22/45 with a factory threaded barrel ($280 from Midway vs $310 on GunBroker). Since my current one is 100% factory I might as well just buy a second gun. Then there's the issue of it being the serial numbered part, so I'd...
Can anyone recommend someone to thread a few barrels for a suppressor in the Indy area? I'm looking at a Beretta 21a, Ruger 10/22 and 22/45. I know Curaheeguns was involved in threading last year but last I saw they had suspended their threading services temporarily. What is an approximate...
