      .44 mag advice?

      I load 240 cast bullets over ether 11 or 12 grans IMR 4756 with standered primer for plinking. Need to check my notes to make sure but both are good loads. I use the same charge with XTP bullets for hunting. At 25 yards my S&W 629 with scope makes 1 ragged hole, my Super Blackhawk without scope...

      Love my SR9c or guess I should say my daughters! She has put way more rounds through it than me and now clams it!

      44 mag reloading question

      I use a pair of the Uncle Mikes shooting gloves most times when I'm putting a bunch of rounds down range, they help. I have more trouble with my wrists hurting. Braces help that but I just can't take the hotter loads anymore.

      I use 12 gr IMR 4756 powder with 240 XTP for hunting 240 cast for plinking. Much less recoil than 296 powder and after several rounds my hands don't hurt near as bad!

      I for one hope they NEVER get started around here! I have seen the damage they can do first hand when I was in Texas! Not to mention they compete with deer and turkey of food!

      If it shoots like my 6 1/2" S & W you'll love it! I tear a big hole at 25 yards and can keep 6 rounds in an 8" paper plate at 100! That's off a rest with a scope!

      getting back into archery

      Lots of great bows on the market! It all depends on how much you want to spend! Mathews, Hoyt, PSE, Find a good shop with several different brands and shoot them and let the bow chose you.
