I'll be bringing a HK P2000 SK on Saturday to sell or trade. It is the factory .357 sig w/ all original equipment including a .40 s&w barrel and a leather concealed carry holster.
Ok, so here it is.. The irons vs. optics debate (again / continued). I've got an LR308 that I've had a scope (3x9x40), 2 reflex sights which broke due to recoil during rapid fire (ncstar and sightmark), and finally I now have a set of fixed Troy battle sights that are absolutely awesome! Of...
So not too many votes for the p250? I've heard they are pretty good, but personally don't like the idea of DAO. I've never fired one, but the triggers do seem pretty smooth.
GP100 for sure. Check out Wilson Combats custom spring kits. They really make the double action better on these six guns. I also hear they do one hell of a trigger job on the rugers.
Ok, so I'm planning my next full-sized pistol purchase and I'm having trouble deciding exactly which .45 to get. I'm looking at Sig P250, Sig P220 combat, HK USP MK 23, Beretta PX4 Combat. Any insight will be helpful.
I've got a dpms sportical. I think they sell for around $800. They are basically a civilianized ar. It comes with a flat top upper and the gas block has a picatinny rail instead of a sight. The one thing I would change right away is the rear collapsible stock, it sucks. Other than that...
Ruger LCP all the way! I recently acquired one for the purpose of trading it, but figured I'd at least shoot it first. The gun looks like a cap gun, it's tiny (about as thick as a deck of cards). My wife didn't even think it was a real gun! Haha. I wasn't impressed with the gun until I shot...
My M1 Garand. Accurate as hell, destructive and a ton of fun! Not to mention the whole, "piece of history thing"... haha. If you've never fired one, I higly recommend it. They day I bought mine at the 1500, I had 15 people make offers on it before I could even leave the building!
LR-308
Here are some pictures of my DPMS LR-308.. Magpul stock & grip, DPMS Free float tube.. Just need to add some sights now.

My first handgun was a Bersa Thunder 9.. I know they have a reputation among some for not being incredibly reliable, but I've put over 1,500 rounds through it without a hitch (although, the rear sight did fall off.. haha).
Thanks to everyone for the replies, I appreciated it! One more question before I order the parts; What is your opinion of going back with a heavier recoil spring (22lb)? I had read a post about the p13.45 saying that the heavier spring reduced recoil. Are there any downsides to doing this??
Thanks to everyone for the info..
@ Dog 1. I've had the pistol for about 2 years now and I bought it slightly used. I myself have probably put around 1,000 rounds through the pistol since purchasing it. I was looking into replacing the mainspring right before the guide broke.. haha...
I was at the range this weekend with a few friends teaching them the basics of handgun marksmanship. I had brought 3 handguns for them to try different calibers. The largest caliber being my Para P13.45. Towards the end of the day I went to empty my last magazine and the gun jammed after 3...
Hi, I have some questions regarding a husqvarna vapenfabriks .243 rifle. I can't determine the model of thi rifle.. If anyone has any knowledge of these rifles and could help me out I would appreciate it.
Based on information I could find, the gun was manufactured in late 1955 or early...
First rifle was an 8mm Turkish Mauser that my uncle gave me for Christmas. He said he picked up 2 of them at a surplus store for $36 a piece (only 10 years ago). Best $36 ever spent in my opinion!!
Thanks for all the information!! I think I'm going to pay the fee again and use L1! I really wish they would have told be I could do all of this electronically when I went to the sheriff's office.
