      I should carry more often than I do. There are times when running quick errands that I don't want to take the extra time to carry.

      Bear creek or PSA or ????

      PSA makes a solid rifle. They've really increased their quality the past few years. There's really nothing to complain about with PSA, they even have upper grade offerings. There are other companies out there like Radical Firearms. I just can't find myself supporting a company like BCA.

      Why all the hate on .40

      In my adult life time there's been at least 4 panic buying sprees in this country. I remember .40 being available in all of those. Maybe not in abundance but there was always at least a few boxes laying around and at an OK price.

      I think I paid $280 OTD for my TORO (optics ready) version. I can imagine the G2C and G3C being cheaper than that.

      What is the most reliable handgun for Self Defense under $400

      1. CZ P10C. Currently around $380, may eventually make it's way above $400 again but still currently on the cheap side. The Taurus G3C is also steadily under $400 and previosly my favorite gun under $400.

      Hard to beat the P10c for the price at the moment, especially if it’s an optics ready version. I don’t think anything from a reputable company comes close. Best I could find were used G19 MOS’ for $450. Still more than a P10c.

      Carry handgun with round in the chamber.

      Guns should be carried with a round in the chamber but if a person is new and does not feel comfortable doing so, they should carry as they wish until they feel comfortable carrying how it should be carried.
