Thanks for that. I had it most of the way back together last night and for some reason kept having issues with the safeties not going in all the way or not seating properly. The couple times I did get it to work I then had issues with the hammer not engaging with the sear.

Well, it appears that I’m not as competent with gunsmithing as originally thought. Can’t get the prodigy back together, both stock and with ignition kit. Certainly still a Monday. Night folks, hope your evening was better than mine.

I would also rather take my time, so thank you for that. All I really need to do is make sure all of the surfaces on this new ignition kit are without burrs and as smooth and effectively moving as possible. I did plan on rounding off the top edge of the hammer face for smoother cycling so I...

Quick question for you all, what do you guys use to polish your parts? What I was mostly seeing was to use Flitzs metal polish and a fine grit file or dremel with a felt or cotton wheel. I was wondering if you guys had any input.

The non comped version is coming way down in price. I saw one new somewhere for $1100, but I forget where. Even the comped versions aren’t too off the wall, There was one on the gun deals subreddit the other day for $1200 I think it was. Not bad at all for what you’re getting.

Oh believe me there’s already some things in my cart that I’m waiting to buy. New trigger, slide stop, mag release, and toolless guide rod are first. After that I’ll be de-mim-ing everything else, and I plan on getting some custom slide work and coating done further down the line. :spend:

Morning everyone. Certainly a Monday. On the plus side, the ignition kit for the prodigy comes in today, so at least I have that to look forward to, after that I’ll be getting a toolless guide rod, new trigger shoe and bow, slide stop, and mag release. Continued prayers for everyone struggling!

I’ve put about 300 rounds through mine so far. For the price, as a stock gun it’s amazing. I have an egw ignition kit coming in today so it’s about to get even better. (I hope)

Spotted on the CZ subreddit, can’t tell what their source is but if it’s real it looks very promising.

Morning all. Working on a project you guys might be interested in. On that note, if any of you have or know of an accurate 3d model of the stripped frame for a p07, I would appreciate if you could send it my way. ;)

Modular how? I only ask because I have a concept drawn up in my head, something akin to keeping the original p07 slide but with an alloy frame piece and polymer grip module, similar to something like a 2011. Keeps weight down, adds modularity, improves the trigger feel. (in my opinion) Only...

I wonder if we’ll only get an optic cut, or a whole second generation of the p07/p09 instead. I want to have hope since it’s supposed to be a “cool update to a current model”, but I’d still be happy with just the optic cut.

It’s definitely safe enough, granted you don’t get the same peace of mind of a decocker and FPB though. There’s a video on youtube called “Shadow 2 Compact - Drop Safe?” by CZ Armorer on youtube where he does what the rest of us won’t, and hits the hammer with a mallet (with a piece of wood in...
