      Passing Along Problems

I don't understand how anyone passes on problems they know about without disclosure. I'd feel so slimy and constantly worry about them being disappointed or worse, getting hurt. My online reputation is important to me too, maybe that's stupid idk. Try to treat it as you would your personal...

      The Cursed Gun Images Thread

I... I don't hate it. I wonder what kind of accuracy they're getting out of it.

      Who is a Morakniv user?

I have a Companion that I have in my hunting bag. It's a nice size for gutting and holds a great edge.

      Hand made Bronze hatchets.

Definitely wont stay sharp as long as iron or steel, but all of those dimples work harden the edge. It'd probably surprise you.

      EDCing a fixed blade

When I know Ill be grinding in the fab shop I'll wear my Bradford Guardian 3 in an Armatus horizontal sheath at 2 o'clock, handle pointed past my right hip. Easy access at work but I wouldn't wear it out and about I have folders for that.

      Here we go again...

I would surmise that economics had something to do with it, and folks used to be a lot more thrifty back then. Keep in mind that people out in the sticks would have had to go to a town to MAYBE find brass cased ammunition, or they could just buy a bunch of lead.

      Ketland pistol.

I love old stuff like this! Just sitting there looking at it in my hands, thinking about who held it before me and what kind of person they were is endlessly fascinating to me. Thank you for sharing.

      Seeking advice for changing eyes

I can imagine so. I was probably about 30 I think it was four or five years ago, it was about $4k out of pocket. I'm sorry your eyes got messed up =/.

What are you listening to: Part 3

Currently listening through Mike Duncan's History of Rome podcast at work. I highly recommend it, even if it's in the background.

      Seeking advice for changing eyes

Damn I'm sorry to hear that, it sounds awful. I went to the Eye Institute in Cincinnati. Out of curiosity how old were you and how was your vision beforehand? I required glasses but I could still generally see things in the same room as me, but seeing road signs was an issue without corrective...

What gun stuff did you buy today?

I finally got my #11 caps from UPS. Straight from WA, to IL, to KY, to CA, to IL, to me. UPS ground the whole way obviously... Yeah they were SUPER late.

Fifth Circuit Won't Revisit Its Earlier Precedent Holding Illegal Aliens Lack Second Amendment Rights

They're now trying to do the same in Chicago. The gang wars are going to be insane.

Majority Of Americans Say College Not Worth Cost…

Hell, I went to school on the GI Bill and I'm not convinced it was worth it... Been looking for a job in design technology for a month now and everywhere wants years of experience even for entry level positions. It's miserable. Thankfully I have a decent enough job to hold me over but man, my...

      Japan Crashing

Tangentially related, I'm planning a trip to Okinawa in November and am kinda illiterate when it comes to international finance... But what power is my dollar going to have when converted to yen?

      Paul Harrell has died

A damn shame, but I am happy he is finally at peace. No more pain is better than a living death. Godspeed Paul.

      Phishing... Scamming... Thievery...

I had to step away from my fathers birthday dinner because I got a very, very convincing email from my bank saying my stuff had been compromised. The scammers are getting crafty. At this point I barely trust phone numbers on websites it's way out of hand.

PART 3: I'm new an your 50-post rule sucks! Please change it for my convenience, and what is all this crap about pineapple on pizza.

I shall run through the thickets in my underbritches as my penance. Still gonna get the pineapple though.

      Seeking advice for changing eyes

If applicable and can swing it financially I can't recommend LASIK enough. It's cliche to say, but it's been a literal life changer. One day i was blurry, took a valium, went into the room and came out. Got home and fell asleep until the next day and holy cow, I could count leaves on the trees...

How do y'all pay for all the cool toys?

I'm still working off the "revolving fun fund" that i had worked up some years ago. I buy and sell, trade and add in some cash to recoup once in a while. My spending habits have been under a significant crunch here lately, but that's okay. I have my wife, family, pets, and friends. Everything a...
