    I'm assuming these events have some sort of security command center, would the police snipers have to get permission to shoot from them before shooting the assassin? No idea what the procedure is, but the police snipers may have been really time limited after acquiring the assassin, reporting, and getting the OK.

    Then there is the question of the Secret Service and one’s political opponents. Given the tragic history of the Kennedys, why in the world did the Biden administration not insist that third-party candidate Robert Kennedy, Jr. be accorded Secret Service protection? Because his candidacy was felt to be disadvantageous to Biden?

    2. The guy who say he was waving his hands and pointing out the shooter. In the beginning of the clip he says he could hear trump but not see him because of a fence. I guess my question is did he actually speak with a leo or did he jump up and down but go unnoticed by the police on the horse he was talking about? In an atmosphere like that I’d guess a lot of people are excited and may be overlooked.

    If you want visuals, this is a great video.....repost of my post #667...plus added screen shots in video.

    This video has great visuals of the rooftop and rally layout. It shows and states the distance was 468 ft. Don't know if that's accurate?

    It gets into some interesting clear Google maps street views at around 10:50 that show the sniper rooftop likely (allegedly) at a higher elevation than the shooter position. There appears to be a tree in the way between the engaging parties.

    At 15:40 they show Trump turning his head up to the right to see/hear a rally attendee at the exact moment the shot was taken that hit his ear.

    The photo chimp has been pretty gentle considering the potential volatility of this thread.

    Emotions are high, but the normal rules still apply.

    He’s just trying I keep it on the rails.

    I was speaking in generalities since you disagreed with the rules. I wasnt claiming YOU did but you showed support for someone else who did. That's all.

    To ALL (since I dont want to be accused of singling you out again) And I know this event was jarring. But everyone needs to take a breath and :chillpill: . Folks are getting butthurt with each other over things they normally wouldnt. We're on the same side here. (at least those of us not in timeout LOL)

    The microphones for speeches and similar uses are highly directional with windscreens and other features to suppress extraneous noise along with preventing feedback.
