Was I supposed to have toys?
This thread points out my inadequacy.
I don't have any toys. Just a commuter car (and I now work at home) old, used Prius. 70 HP baby!!!!!!
And I've never even had cable or dish TV.
How do you (family) guys afford all that stuff?
My first car WAS a 442, though. Back during the last ice age.
And I thought I felt inferior for just carrying little Kel-Tecs around. At least I got a Glock last week. That's about all I can afford for the next decade.
sigh
Edit: About only thing interesting I can share... My Prius readout showing 25 minutes of at least 100 MPG. (DOWN the smoky mountains). But, still averaging over 50 mpg over 200+ miles.
I am a full time college student so I have to scrimp and save everything I make to feed my Boy Toy addiction. Luckily I have summer work lined up this summer so I get to paint my Nova with the earnings.
I went from a beat up truck to this. I'm moving up in the world! Actually, this used to be my grandparents, then my mothers, and now mine. for almost 200K miles, it made it to KY and back and I never got worried!
2001 zx-9r ninja with 11k miles. It has a muzzy full titanium ultra lite exhaust system, jet kit, k&n air filter, flush mount turn signals, fender eliminator, and a polished frame. I think I found a new love.
You guys with sport bikes are braver men than me! The difference between us is I KNOW I would kill myself on one instead of being in denial and saying "Oh, I can handle 200mph... NoOoOo Problem!"
I have seen those INGO bumperstickers quite often on this thread and I really want one. I've looked all over and can't seem to find where to order them. Where can I get one of those?
I drive a 95 chevy lumina that used to be my grandparents. Not my favorite car, but I really like it! For its year and 165K miles its in great condition! It was also free, so I can't beat that!
