The other day I was at my moms taking care of her. We have a security system including cameras so we can watch over mom when no one is there. My sister called me and told me I was armed. Since she is still on the fence about me carrying I was half expecting a lecture because I was carrying my gun OWB as I often do when I am there.

I told her I'd had my gun covered most of the time I had been there and besides I was getting ready to leave. She then told me that she meant the alarm system was armed, not me. What a relief. We chuckled about it and she disarmed the alarm.

Whew, I was glad that was all she was calling about.

I've corrected Germans on their German grammar. I don't just correct English.

They should make greeting/birthday/get well soon/xmas/etc. cards that self destructs like in Mission: Impossible after being read so that you don't have to leave them on on your mantel or whatever waiting until you don't feel bad/awkward about throwing them away.
