1911 or Glock 19 any thoughts

Either can be a fantastic gun. A Glock 19 is just like any other Glock 19 and is a very specific gun, but the 1911 comes in many, many flavors. Depending on the route you go with the 1911, it could be a really good range gun, carry gun or both. What type 1911 are you thinking about? Caliber, size, brand, and ballpark cost?

Glock 17 Gen 4. I have some pretty sick plans for it including match barrel, milling out front serations and a slot for an RMR as well as several other upgrades! CAN'T WAIT!

I'm thinking about picking up a Range Officer in 9mm a local shop has in stock.

Me too. But that will involve me selling my RO in .45 Auto.

Also on my list is a Shield 9...or a Remington R51.

Would also grab any S&W revolver if the price was right.

I am on a self induced moratorium for firearms purchases but when it comes time to get another, I am picking up a CZ 97B. That or a Springfield GI 1911. Who knows though.... I have plenty of time to change my mind :D
