I get it, but it just seems silly for people to get up in arms over something they never would have purchased anyway. They were already boycotting Yeti on price, what to do now, doubledown on the boycott? “I’m never, ever, ever, going to buy your products I was never going to buy anyway”?

So you don't think the Free French had cause to hate the Vichy French?

I happed to see a lady wearing a shirt that had that logo. I was busy at the time and forgot to look it up.
    Thanks.

EDIT: Just looked them up. Brilliant!!
I'm wearing a sweatshirt with the logo right now. I got it for Christmas, along with the stickers.

    .
I wonder if leadership at yeti manufacturing does the math and figures they will sell more coolers to the hipsters this way and more than make up for the losses.

More likely some middle aged executive trying to impress the baristas at starbucks.

Over the years I've seen fools in management put companies on ballistic trajectories over less.

That would be a good strategy if a barista could afford a Yeti cooler. Do hipsters have to keep their dope cold?

What they (and other companies) need to understand is that there are active gun owners in almost every market category. At any given time, there is likely a soccer mom married to one of us for example, or that may buck the trend and also be a 2A supporter directly. I haven't bought any of their coolers, but I have purchased a few of their cups, some from an INGO member who was a distributor. Now I will likely not in the future, due to this.

I bought the cups not because I cared about Yeti brand, but because I knew my wife would like them, etc. Next time, I won't buy the Yeti as I'd prefer not to pay the price for them, and now have a reason not to go out of my way to buy them as a gift for someone who did like the brand (but would not buy one herself).

Yep, 2A supporters are across all market categories, and these companies need to learn to stay the heck out of politics, especially where it doesn't directly impact their business (i.e. tariffs, taxes or being forced to pay more in wages, etc).

I can not help but think these companys are not seeing a broader customer base when the make these political stands.
We need as a group to apply some pressure. The left has this down to a science. We need to capture one of the party handbooks.

    Here you go bos.

It could work against them if we used their playbook and petitioned places like Cabella's to boycott YETI.

So, after a quick google, I find nothing credible on this topic. Yeti did post 30.06 signs at its flagship store, but then, after backlash, removed them to allow concealed carry. Nothing about the NRA I can find? I’ll still call and ask Monday, and if they confirm, I wil, start replacing Yeti with Pelican.

I've not seen an official notice.
I did get word from our committee chairman that Yeti had discontinued it's support of the FNRA.
I saw the same referenced on another site, that their committees had been notified of the same.

I sent Yeti an email simply asking for an explanation for the decision.
    Waiting for a reply.

I have quite a few yeti products, when I lived down south where we knew what hot was they were life savers. But now that they do not have the technological edge there are more affordable options available. The pelican group buy has me trying to explain this "cooler" to my wife...
