    Seems to me Micro$oft is putting all of its eggs in the tablet basket. Win8 was written to be a tablet OS. It was then kludged to work on desktops and laptops. As for me, I'll stick with Win7.

    Done, pinned to taskbar. Right clik flashes the metro version then it closes and takes me to the start page. Left clik and choosing a task works fine after the admin auth window.

    How did you get Windows 8? Did it come with the computer, did you do an upgrade, or a clean install?

    I'm running it perfectly fine with very few complaints and no need for any modifications.
