There was one time around July when my wife and I went. We were at the 25 and shooting. When my wife taps me on the shoulder to get me to stop firing. I look over and there are 3 guys and a girl about 5 yds past the firing line blasting away with a shotugn and revolvers. We cut our time short as it was unsafe environment and the people looked like they wouldn't listen to my safety speech. They had about 7 people there acting goofy flagging each other poor trigger discipline, and generally making gun owners look bad. We drove to the check in station and told the woman about it. She had a guy go over and kick them off the range. They of course were from none other than Illinois.

There needs to be a movement by Illinois firearm owners to take back the state. Work with Illinois DNR to open public shooting ranges. It seems like that is the solution.
