I'm leaning towards it was in the works from when the YouTube streaming started at WIBC.

I reached out to Guy, he said he'd ask about it. How do these things happen? I dunno, magic wiz-bangery or something.

YouTube has a subtitles feature that can add them based on speech-to-text software if the creator doesn't provide them in the video. The YouTube feature isn't perfect, but it's close enough. The WIBC YouTube channel usually streams the show live. I'm not sure if that works on a livestream though. I watch the YouTube later after the show is over, usually on Sunday, when I can skip through the commercials.

Your child's school is targeted by a school shooter. Which would you rather have?

A) a skilled SWAT team an hour away.
B) a trained police officer 15 minutes away.
C) a school resource officer 5 minutes away across campus.
D) an armed citizen/teacher able to respond in 15 seconds.

Pretty obviously destroys the "Don't arm teachers!" crowd.
