Eh. I think the 5 year old girl stealing the fat man’s OC’d gun out of his uncle Mike’s paddle holster might edge this one out in epicity. But admittedly threads these days just aren’t good. You can judge a good thread’s epicity by how good the spoof threads are that follow. When’s the last time we’ve had a good spoof thread. jeez you’d think the mods banned them.

Trying to get to the officer involved shooting the other day and a bunch of semis clogging up the left lane made it real fun. We should tax cyclists to pay for troopers to sit on 465, 70, and 65 and ticket 3rd lane violators.

So then we agree on that. If we made all the cyclists who want bike lanes, pay for bike lanes, we both believe there would be no bike lanes. Except in Ingomike's HOA-controlled neighborhood.

I even gave evidence for the prediction that cyclists don't really want bike lanes by showing an example of a city that put in bike lanes which, no one uses. Some even prefer to use the sidewalks. But honestly I think those guys were homeless. Anyway. From the "tone" of your post I get the feeling you seem to be disagreeing. So are you just agreeing disagreeably?

Nah, they are paying their fair share for their ICE vehicles.

And pedestrians use streets also without paying their fair share. Who would have known that there were so many freeloaders out there…

Aren't they required to use sidewalks when present? That is one of the major complaints that I've seen in this thread. Cyclists on the road with a bike path/lane available.

I miss the days of my youth, earning a Hardwood Shampoo and watching a Water Cannon tumble the rioters down the street. Nothing takes the excitement out of a rioter like having your clothes and skin ground off after a block or two of being washed down the street.

The proper question is do “all” cyclists drive automobiles? If not, then there are cyclists using roadways they haven’t paid for.

And there are some for sure. And while many sidewalks are paid for by the property owners many are built as part of the roadways…

Not that I have seen enforced. Gotta love the old lady that walks her foo-foo dog in the street rather than on the sidewalk, which she probably does because of aggressive breed dogs that are in invisible fence the goes to within two feet of the sidewalk…
