    No one uses irons on a bolt gun. They are made to go long for hunting or target shooting. Plus in today's penny pinching cost cutting it saves the manufacturers money. No biggie to have a smith install them for you if you need them.

    I wonder what cost would be? I bolt action 300 blackout or 350 legend irons would be a good option.

    Even though I have a LPVO on my AR, I still have the irons. When I was in the Marines, we did not have optics, and learned with irons...still prefer them actually, even though my eyes are NOT as good now as then. Old habits die hard.
