Hope you do better than me. In my experience, new fishing electronics means little fishing and a lot of fiddling...

Still tweaking the transducer, but I know what you mean.

I was scrolling messing around with it

Headed to MI this weekend to do some Walleye fishing on the Detroit River. I've never been there. My dad called and said his brother backed out and asked if I wanted to go.

Like I was going to say no...

I caught these in a private pond in Jennings county last Friday, The pond is overpopulated pretty bad with bass, crappie and bluegill. The guy that owns it told me to keep everything I catch and not to throw anything back.

River was too muddy for anything. Capt said sat they only caught 3 all day. Needless to say dad wasn't interested in driving 4 hours for no fish. We are rescheduling.

On the bright side, the boat is almost ready to do some salmon fishing in Manistee/Ludington. :)

Heard that the week before last, crappie were hitting HARD on Kentucky Lake... Got a coworker who goes down the first full week of April every year, said nothing Saturday, a few Sunday, and Monday it was all hands on deck! And stayed that way the rest of the week.

    waters too muddy everywhere.

Thats good though, maybe we wont have another effing drought.

Hopefully, the rain in the spring and the drought really put a damper on my fishing, I got a few days in with my dad last April, then one more time late April after his funeral, caught my biggest bass yet that day... Really made me wish pops was there so I could show him proof I was a better fisherman than he was:laugh:
