Thats some good shooting, I don't care who you are or what your shooting.

I would use my S&W 29 classic, although I might try my 27 now. :rockwoot:

    If I were forced... It'd be my GP100 4"

Next up would be the full-sized Sig P250...the longest barreled handgun that I own.

Hey Jason, tell me about that .327. I've been curious how that round performs. I called Bullberry this morning to see if they could rechamber a T/C barrel (now in .32 H&R) to .327. They'd never heard of it! Sad, it seemed like a good idea!

Dale, the 327 Smith and Wesson is a model of revolver chambered in .357 magnum, not a gun in the .327 Magnum (Ruger/Hornady) caliber. However, i think if you are set up to reload, the .327 has great potential. If you poke around rugerforum.com, you'll probably find a lot of information about the caliber and handloading for it.

p.s. I spend a lot of time day dreaming about shooting my new revolver at 200 yards as soon as the weather is decent.

hands down my taurus 607 6.5" 357mag with the heavy lug, vent rib, and 8 port compensator......yea, I think that'd do it......lmfao Out to 75-100 I am pretty proficient with my g33 and 1903/8 though, the mag is just in another league

I would use my .22 target pistol, currently sighted for a 6 o'clock hold on a B-33 target at 50 feet. With my aim point about 1/3 of the way from the bottom and CCI SV ammo, I could hit the target at any range out to 120 yards. To hit at 150, I would need to hold just below the top of the target. At 200 it would get interesting, since I would need to hold about 2 feet above the target to get a hit.

The longer shots would actually be harder with my .357 revolver because the bullet would go below supersonic speeds at around 75 yards and might start to tumble. Plus at 200 yards, the point of impact would be over 45 inches below the point of aim.

Well I'm kinda screwed....pops just recently sold his Ruger SuperRedhawk 9.5" .44 mag. I popped an 8 pt with it a few yrs back @150 yards (iron sighted).
Before that I only shot deer 100 and in with .44 handgun. I went past that sucessfully, but won't do it again (did shoot farther in practice).

Oh yeah, that's MD Pitch Black 2 in the pic (had drank two of them, one on the way up, one in stand). ;)

So, what are you going to use now???

Need to try adjusting you sight picture and not your aim. Hold the front sight above the rear. Helps if you practice and have reference lines painted on the sight.

I am going to have to set up a 200yd course now so I can see if my .357 Sig can ting a steel plate. I know I can to 100 pretty easily with it...

I ran a POS old Colt last yr, in puny .357........but my shot was only 50 yards.
I'd like another 629-2 or 3 with 6" for deer....if using handgun primary.

I'm doing a .35 Rem TC carbine this yr (cases trimmed to max legal length).

Will have the junker .357 on my hip for maybe a doe ;)

Never really contemplated it before, but now that I do, I'd have to say a .222 Remington "Super 14" on my Thompson Contender.

It's flatter shooting than anything else I have in a handgun platform, and I'm sure it would reach out and touch something at a decent range.
