    This is hardly a serious thread, but I would say that it went the way of the rest of the dishes in the house (lost, broken, etc.) as Christ did drink from a cup that night, but there is nothing mystical about it, just another one of the dishes.

    I have heard this idea and won't make an argument one way or the other as I simply don't have sufficient information. In that case, once again, I would argue that it is the use and contents, not the cup itself that has value.

    This is a VERY serious thread.

    It's supposed to have been used also to collect and store the blood of Christ at the Crucifixion, not just during the last supper.

    So we're looking at a cup with the DNA of the Christ inside. :dunno:

    The discussion struck me as having flippant overtones. As for the actual event(s) I again stand by my position that the significance is the presence and actions of Christ and not the cup.
