Now this is a guy who knows how to listen. If you could only explain this to my clients.

Working in firearm sales I've had many customers ask me and tell me things that made me :wallbash:. I don't and can't give legal advice but I give 'don't be an idiot' advice. I've had training from the ATF on firearm sales and transfer laws and was very familiar with South Carolina's firearm laws because of my active participation in lobbying for changes.

I'm sure you might have had clients who say "but the guy behind the counter who sold it to me said I could do this". I try not to be that guy.

I hate all these camera happy *******

I caught him in my mirror, then turned my head around. He pretended he didn't do what he just did.

What holster do you use while riding? I usually don’t carry while riding cause I always conceal and don’t like only having [passive] retention holding it in place. I tried a Blackhawk for a while but it seemed too floppy to be comfortable.

XD .45 in a Bianchi Model 56 Serpent. It rides outside my jacket.

Go big or go home. I OC my 6" Chiappa Rhino when I'm feeling fancy. The only reason I got it was as a "BBQ gun."

That's what a BBQ Gun is?

That that Now Kirk's funny picture makes sense!

There's always the internal conflict between the innate desire to win and the desire to extract all the cash there is to extract.

I don't know why but this reminds me of something I learned from watching mob movies on the subject of the pros and cons of bleeding a guy quickly or slowly.

I don't know why but I am suddenly remind of Tony Soprano talking to his Uncle Junior.
Remember the story you told me about the father bull talking to the son. They're up on this hill and looking down on a bunch of cows. And the son goes to the father, "Dad, why don't we run down there and f*** one of these cows?" Now do you remember what the father said? Father says, "Son, why don't we walk down there and f*** them all?"

Just now at Thompson and Emerson Kroger. Older gentleman, an owb soft holster on hip, had some sort of single stack subcompact with an all metal magazine. Only thing I can think of is maybe a PPK or one of the smaller 1911?

Gave him an approving nod, not sure if he noticed mine.

Just a regular looking guy in a "daddy suit." He wore a polo and flip flops, FFS! Inside our local Best buy store. People who work there were kind of gathering and pointing.
It looked like a sort of 1911 thing.

    I bought some new speakers.

It wasn't today but recently I've seen open carry:

    - Taco Bell: Glock in a Fobus

    - Walmart: Glock in an Uncle Mikes?

    - Guy on a motorcycle on 465, couldn't tell the gun/holster combo

    Hats off to you Hoosiers.

I've witnessed more open carry here than I ever did in Texas.

It's been legal and acceptable here a lot longer than in Texas.

 Wasn't it illegal in Texas not that long ago?

It's been legal and acceptable here a lot longer than in Texas.

Correct. Open carry of pistols went into law in Texas January 2016. Concealed carry in 1995 I believe.

Folks there were always surprised when I told them how good gun laws were in Indiana and the fair amount of gun culture here.

Either way, have witnessed it a lot more here than there. Perhaps overtime it will become more common there too.

Chick-fil-A on 135 in front of the Meijer in Greenwood. Was behind a guy with a single stack FDE polymer gun in a leather holster, then later another gentleman walked in with something in a Blackhawk Serpa. Both were good to see IMO... :rockwoot:
