McDonalds on Green River across from Eastland Mall. I always eat with my coat off. I went to the rest room to wash up afterwards and made a trip to the counter to tell the staff about the restroom needing maintenance, all with my coat off so about 10 people got a look.

    First Time

Wife was gone at noon Sunday so I called a friend to see if he wanted to grab a bite to eat.
His brother and him had been coyote hunting and were done so we met up.
I always conceal carry my LCR 38 + P special. But I decided to carry my 380 Colt Government in a new holster I had just got. My coat pretty much covered it most of the time I guess. Got our meal from the counter and got up to get drinks and left, nobody said a word.
Not really a bold first carry but it is a start.

I try to avoid OC'ing my full size M&P with my jacket hanging over it...
Printing through a thin jacket is one thing, but seeing the tip of my barrel stick out under my jacket is sloppy in my opinion and is that much more likely to alarm someone that I've got something to hide.

I usually only wear wind breakers and/or light jackets so I just make sure to tuck it over the grip so it's not hiding.

And THAT is true OC'ing in the winter. :rockwoot:
