Did you move? You always post about OCing around Greenwood.

I did move just north of Greenwood, to the Franklin Township area. My wife made reservations up at Tucanos for my birthday today. Since I liked Fogo in the past, this was supposed to be pretty similar.

It was, pretty good food. Small portions, but not bad at all.

The past two days I carried at the Meijer in Highland twice, the Wendys in Schererville, and this morning on my way to work I stopped by the Circle K in Highland and as I finish paying the lady asked "May I ask you a question?" "Sure" I replied. "Is that part of your job?" She asked looking down at my Glock. "No, this is just the most convenient way of carrying my firearm when I'm going to work." "You can do that?" She asked. "Yes I'm licensed. And It the state of Indiana I can carry openly." "Did that take you long to get?" She asked. "No, about two weeks or so it's not too bad, and it's a lifetime license." "Don't you have to tell the cops if you get pulled over?" "No, it's at my discretion in this state." "And you can carry that everywhere?" "For the most part, no schools, casinos, airplanes, courthouses, etc. It's not that hard to do and you can get a 4 year license for rather inexpensive." "That's cool." She replied. And I was on my way. That was actually one of the first interactions where I have been asked. I normally just get the nods of approval. Although I've been told I look LEO.

    Sounds like a good interaction!

I love when I get asked, "Are you expecting trouble?"

No, if I was expecting trouble, I'd be carrying a rifle and would probably have back-up.

Tapanyaki (I'm sure I butchered the spelling of that) Chinese restaurant in Evansville, Comic quest, and Dollar General. Wal-Mart in Newburgh. Nearly carried into Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh when visiting a family member until I saw the no weapons sign.

Quick neck trim at Great Clips.

As I sat down, barber lady said "OH! You've got a gun. Pow pow pow!" .......

While paying, guy sitting in chair asked "That a new Hi-Point?", "Nope, Glock.", "Ah, never had a Glock."

Then some quick stops at BMO Bank, and walked around Franklin Estates to check out the community sale.

In Advance Auto on LWE Mishawaka for front brake pads and rotors. Then my driveway as I changed the front brakes and rotors on my car.

A few years ago I wouldn't taken half the time I spent today.
    Sigh....

I can see the possible confusion between a Glock and a Hi-Point! This coming form a die hard 1911 fan. OF COURSE!!! LMAO!
