Hold on. If they've been told you (or anyone) is planning a mall shooting or plane hijacking and/or have already killed cops, you would not consider that the suspect should be at a minimum disarmed in the process of being arrested?

I haven't looked up the circumstances, so I don't know any details of that and can't comment on it. If, however, you think it was in error, I would suggest a calm, civil, polite PM to the mod who issued the infraction with a request to discuss it. Infractions issued in error HAVE been removed. (please don't write in angry, demanding terms like some have done, though... Not that you would, but some have. Word to the wise. )
