    Elk grips. I bought some from a guy out west who made them and sold on GB. He disappeared so I e-mailed and we talked a bit about his work. He had cataract surgery and hadn't been working but was going to start up again. I told him that he did good work and to keep me posted when he started back up. Good fit and good price.

    Not much seen from this era, a Heiser flap holster for a S&W hand ejector, made sometime before 1928. This model in 32-20 has had the entire barrel replaced with a custom one to hold a Sheard sight, the work possibly done by Sheard who in addition to inventing sights was an outfitter, trader and gunsmith in the American Northwest.

    Picked up this Ruger Super Blackhawk 4 5/8 inch barrel made in 1987 Sunday...Got 12 rounds on speed strips, a lighter and a Swiss Army knife in the pouch...

    Because a guy can't have too many right???
