My dad was a kid during the depression. I remember being about 6 we would eat crushed up saltines in a bowl with milk just like cereal. Every now and then I'll eat a bowl of it

We had a sitter when I was a kid that would make that crap and tell us to eat or get our azzes beat....I opted for the beating every time.

I love it. Mom usually makes it when Dad is in the field in the spring and fall. That's the only time I eat it though.

Loved it as a kid, love it as a dude in his mid-to-upper 20's.

Granted, I'm too lazy to take time to make it like my Mom and Grandma made it. They went all out with the noodles, milk, butter and Velveeta cheese. I'm lazy and just make the stuff from the box, lately the gluten free Annie's stuff which is pretty good:

But I'll also make the blue-box crap too. I only buy the stuff above to trick myself into thinking I'm eating healthier.

Everything I ate as a kid I still eat today except for margarine. Always wanted butter but it was pricy and later bad for you, now things have changed.

Lots. Mac and cheese with chocolate milk. The sugar wafers. Vanilla wfers and pudding. Beens and hotdogs. Breakfast quiche. Theres a long list. I dont think my brain has ever moved my taste buds out of adolescence.
