    Chipped Beef gravy over toast, or, SOAS. We'd have it over biscuits if we wanted to be big city.:): I've tried making it, but have never got it close to the way Mom made it.

    Bacon Gravy covered white wonder type bread with bacon crumbles on top.
    Favorite as a kid and I still love it to this day.

    Beanie, weinie, cheezy, burgie...........Yep it looks and tastes just like it sounds........Deeeelicious!

    LOL, I still eat beanie weinies too, cambell's bean & bacon soup and chopped up hotdog warm on the stove then eat as is or make a grilled cheese with it.... Mmmm Mmmmm Good ..... Its a little diffrent then yours but still yummie !

    hard to decide what my favorite is. but the top three are moms chincken noodles with mashed taters and corn, fried treet on white bread with mustard, and grilled cheese sandwhiches.

    Another one of my favorites is something my dad had about every night, crackers and milk... He also had Cornbread and milk with a little onion diced up in it when mom made beans and cornbread with drop dumplins and we had left over cornbread... I still have both every now and then... Alot of these that have been posted has put a smile on my face and some I will try myself... The best part of this thread is bringing back some old memories we have forgot about.... Thx all and keep them come'n.

    Ham salad / sandwich spread on potato bread. And the sandwich spread came from D&R fruit and meat market in Logansport. The best!
