    My primary EDC is an RIA 1911A1 .45 ACP. Eight rounds in the mag and one chambered condition 1, with another 8 round mag backup. It's a very comfortable carry for me.

    I have always felt if I need more rounds then that I should have stayed home. :)

    RIA 1911A1 45 acp 230 gr hp( I likes my flying ashtray:):) in a Tagua holster,my only sidearm at the moment...had a Taurus 85 Ultralight 38 for a while,but life got in the way and I had to sell it:crying:...will be replacing it ASAP,probably w/ a smaller frame auto

    I just can't help stirring the pot some times. Maybe it's more of a gas station joke

    Hornady critical defense....9mm.....glock 19. Coming from owning taurus mill pro & ruger p97 both in 45 I was cautious about stepping dwn to smaller ccaliber but after firing my new glock those concerns are gone.

    I go with the common 9mm, .40 S&W, and .45 acp. I have no "favorite" caliber, usually depends on whether I like the platform launching it.

    For church, however, it is .38 special.
