    Another .40 S&W here. Springfield XD40SC.

    As to why: more energy than a 9MM, and more capacity than a .45 (in similar form factor).

    Had a laugh over the weekend, when someone mentioned "knock down power". I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of a .22 short, so the difference from 9, to .40, to .45 is pretty moot to me.

    Springfield GI Champion 1911 4" .45ACP carried in a fobus roto holster left hand at 8 oclock position OWB just behind my back, i can conceal it with my wheelchair back without having to cover it with my shirt......45 Auto ACP +P Hornady TAP 230 Grain.....will be purchasing a FNX9 when my gun fund is filled up again

    The FNX is an excellent firearm. You won't be disappointed there.

    I know, but I just love playing around with Picassa photo editor and posting the results! When I was a youngster Momma asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up and I said,"A Pilot", and she replied,"make up your mind". :rolleyes:

    With current SD bullet technology, I see no reason to carry anything else.

    Plus, I am in the opinion that bullets are like bubblegum, I want to have enough for everybody. My G17 is carried with a factory 17rd mag + one in the chamber. The mags I reload to hold 23rds.
