    Hiding from reality
So far, I am not only in the minority, I am alone.

.45 ACP 230 gr ball in my 1911 as a general rule. I do have some 200 gr Hornady HP's that I loaded, and work good, but I am just habitual.

M855 Ball in my trunk carbine.

Ball ammo in my M1 carbine truck rifle. Great on coyote and muskrats.

Hornady TAP in the 12 ga.

HOWEVER, the Federal HST 180gr in .40 is the tightest shooting ammo out of my G27. Even with the short barrel I've clocked it at 1005fps for 5 shot average. The box says 1010 out of a 4" barrel.

9mm Rem. Golden Sabre 124gr.+p . Seems to be a little less costly and I know I sure as hell wouldn't want to be shot with one. Bonded is the only way to go.
