...... Also after watching the Dirty Harry's I still want a S&W 629 but haven't bought one yet. This has been on my list for many-many years but I can't seem to find a nice old one at a good price. Another.........:patriot:

    Same here, Wanting the 629

The Wind and the Lion for my weakness for 97 Winchester shotguns. Red Dawn for the RPK. The Rat Patrol for my Browning belt fed. And I can't remember the name of the Clint Eastwood movie where he has the Broomhandle Mauser. This list could be several pages in length. I am a Victim of Hollywood Marketing.

    Terminator 2 - Colt Combat Elite (Blued/stainless 1911)

Most all Steven Segal movies make me want more 1911s.

3:10 to Yuma makes me want to get a Schofield in a bad way...

For me it would have to have been a Roy Rogers film. When we got our first TV in 1954, he and Gene Autry were the first ones I remember. I guess that is why Colt's SAA is and always will be my favorite handgun. I was five.

I blame every Arnold Schwarzenegger movie ever made for me wanting a Desert Eagle. They just looked so cool, but decided that I just had no reason to own one.

The Matrix is the reason I went and bought a DE.:rockwoot:I think just old westerns in general made me want to get a lever action. Oh yeah, Jurassic Park with the tactical shotguns. Enemy at the Gates, now have 2 Mosins but still need a Mauser and the Nagant Revolver.

One word: HEAT. I want all of them. The shorty M16, the FAL, the HK91. I got goosebumps all over just thinking about them.

not a movie, but the vince flynn books inspired me to buy a g19... and is continuing to inspire me to buy ammo, and suppressors and the such... i highly suggest his novels.

But they haven't inspired you to move onto a Five-Seven like Mitch? ;)

(He moved to a Five-Seven in the books because FN sent Vince a free Five-Seven. :D Get this manufacturers... want your gun featured? Send him a free gun. It would work for me! Where's my darned typewriter...)

I like the Rapp books too! :yesway:
