People who slide drop an empty 1911.....

Now now... This is necessary to do once in awhile to make sure you don't have any issues going on with your sear, hammer, trigger, or springs.

I wouldn't shoot a 1911 if the hammer dropped when you let the slide slam on an empty chamber. Easy to get a stupidly light trigger without wrecking the gun in the process...

I am not talking about the occasion function check (though if the trigger is properly tuned, you do not need to do this very often at all), but I see people do it all of the time... I just cringe....

    N.W.I.
People with experience who have no patience for those who don't, and do not want to share knowledge.
People who believe others are wrong for having different beliefs.
People who use the term "train wreck" for any thing other than a train wreck. (I'm a rail roader and have been involved in train wrecks)

People who drive around R.R. crossing gates.

And the list could go on.....

-People who spell Mossberg as either Mussberg or Mossburg. Usually seen on armslist.

-The thought of visiting some very good friends in Chicago and having to rely on my "tactical preemptive headbutting" skills to protect me instead of trusty Sig or CZ.

-Finding "presents" in uncleaned, used guns. I picked up one rifle that apparently the previous owner only used hand loaded rounds made of coal dust and unrefined Walrus fat. In another (Mussburg 590) I found a dead spider between the receiver and the stock. I can only conclude it was left there by a Druid as part of some firearms consecration ritual like they did at Stonehenge. (Yes, I admit, i left the dead spider in place, lest I invoke the Curse of the Thorn).

Everybody that votes for OBAMA or any democrat, socialist, They are all anti-American.

^^^The above statement, as well as improper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. I know our school systems aren't the best in the world, but is it so difficult to educate one's self to write and speak like a literate person?

Also people who don't eat meat and ostracize those that do. I can't help that I love bacon and steak.

Brother-in-law who got into the whole prepping kick because of the TV show. After a month he thinks he knows all there is to know about guns.

People who try to sell their used guns for more money that you can get a new gun for. The fact that you put new set of grips on your overpriced kimber does not make it "custom" and worth $200 more that you paid for it originally.

People who fully subscribe to the myth that glocks are best handguns ever made. Glocks are not bad, at best they are on the same level as other handgun in that price range but in no way are they the "best". Only thing that "the best" can be applied to when talking about glocks is their PR/marketing department.

Tacticool weekend warriors who show up to the range with thousands of dollars worth of optics and other gear but do not take the time to master the basics.

People who look down on younger shooters instead of mentoring them and passing on their knowledge.

The clip/magazine thing annoys a bit....but referring to anything but an artillery piece as a "gun" took years to get over. Now excuse my while I go clean my weapons, my rifle and sidearm to be precise.
I totally agree with this statement. If there is any doubt about this statement watch Full Metal Jacket. Or join the USMC.
