When I am at the gun range and the guy next to me can't control his small kids. Not kidding....a guy had his son and daughter, both probably about 5 years old, running around the handgun range. Very troubling.

I cringed a lot today. I cringe and get very upset when I see innocent people, especially little children, being murdered. I cringe that the left is calling for more gun control when one of the worst crimes in American history happened in a state that has some of the toughest gun laws. I cringe when I see politicians and other interested parties exploiting a tragic incident to further their campaign against our rights. I cringe when I think of the people who think that gun control would have stopped the events that unfolded today.

All the above......I went to the range and saw many things that makes me cringe. Handling and safety mainly. The biggest one I saw was at Atterbury, a man went to change out his targets while UNDER FIRE (pistol range, end lane) He was then yelled at by the range master but was not throw out. That blew me away. I hope that would make anyone cringe, everybody in my group was.....also in shock, and then laughing over the stupidity.

That being said, people who baby a firearm makes me cringe.

It's a gun, non corrosive ammo, it's handle being dirty. Only time where I cringe on a cleaning thing is if it's so gunked the action is sticking, or on an old gun where the owner has never even attempted complete cleaning (mostly in this case, Browning A5s).



I too cringe at "assault weapon", it's a tool, until you assault someone with it.

"Weapon" also makes me cringe. Once again, it's a tool.

People who don't check their blind spots, and merge into your lane, while you are still IN it! I swear, the next time this happens I am going to LET them hit me, just so they will learn to never do it again. Usually I start honking, and they swerve away, but one time, this guy didn't even hear me honking, I had to move over, and I start waving my arm, because I can see him in his window, and he has a dead stare straight ahead, . This is why I bought blind spot eliminator mirrors, I don't ever want to do this to someone.

It's like wearing a scarf, a beanie, and earmuffs, but a lot less troublesome, and easier to carry. I wear them all the time when I am out in the cold, under a jacket hood.
If you mean wearing them in the open, like without a hood, yea that does look freaky.
