But what makes an "American" car/truck American??
American cars (my opinion, yes we all have one):
Chevy Corvette
Ford Mustang
Jeep Wrangler
there are more, but these three came to mind.
Built by American's in the U.S.A..
There are no American Made Cars anymore...
American cars are from the big 3 IMO. One can argue this all you want. My german designed, canadian assembled Dodge Charger is still more american than any Toyota, Honda, or Subaru.

Huge difference in tuning, compressions, etc. The F250 is a truck, the M5 is a sports car. Its not quite apples to oranges, more potatoes to sweet potatoes. Sure they both say potato, but they arent the same thing.

BMW X3 BMW X5 BMW Z3 BMWZ4
Mercedes Benz ML350 ML500
Toyota Camry, Corolla, Tundra
Honda Civic
Suburu outback and many more.
ALL AMERICAN MADE !!!!!
Doesn't Fiat have a controlling interest in Chrysler these days?
The BMW X5 pushes out more than the Ford and that's a truck..... what else have you got??
Is ford an american company? Where is corporate? Ford didnt receive the bail out.
Chris McDaniel, a Ford customer, explains, why he likes Ford: “I was going to buy from a manufacturer that is standing on its own. Win, lose or draw. That’s what America is about.” The thing is, Ford is not standing on its own. It has received billions in federal subsidies to keep 13 factories working, and 33,000 employees on the job in Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and Missouri. Here’s what happened:
