Wow. 13 pages and no-one even mentioned "Equilibrium". I want to do the gun kata. And, while not a movie, as someone else mentioned..."Sons of Anarchy".

Not going to go back and re-read to double check...

Has Quigley Down Under been neglected?

Very good movie! Boondock Saints and the Expendables. Anyone seen the second Boondock Saints? Was pretty disappointed. Loved the expendables, needs more saiga 12 time though.

lots of great movies here, but i can't believe that terminator 2 has only been mentioned once. the one-handed cycling of the lever action shotgun on the motorcycle, the underground depot, and the gatling gun were all great gun scenes.

    Winchester 73.

Thank goodness someone else loves the oldies. Who wouldn't love an entire movie with the gun being central to the plot and you get Jimmy Stewart to boot. You actually had to act back then.

I just watched Open Range last night. Its a pretty good move. Not much gun action in it until the end. But the end has enough for the rest of the movie.

This one takes the cake for me as far as recent movies. (I would have to give Unforgiven a tip of the hat though.)

Best quote from Open Range: "Well you may not know this, but there's things that gnaw at a man worse than dying."

The Good, the bad and the ugly

What is better than the scene where Tuco (the ugly) pieces together the 45 in the old general store - hilarious

Thanks for bringing that up. I almost forgot how much I love that scene. :yesway:

I know it's not a movie but I was absolutely floored by the show Breaking Bad (Episode title: "One Minute"). The shootout scene at the end was very well executed. The only flaw was an audible click when the trigger was pulled on an empty 1911 in slide-lock.
