If they run 100% and expand...... It doesn't really matter.....
Remember, anything worth shooting.... should get two to the chest and one to the head....

If your ammo does not look like this every time it hits, then you might want to rethink your SD ammo brand...

No other ammo brand offers the deep penetration, consistent expansion and ultra-wide petal spread that Federal's HST does. Most modern hollow point bullets are designed to expand 1.5x their original size. HST's are designed to expand at least 2x their original size.

Link to test sponsored by Federal, but performed by law enforcement:
    LE - Wound Ballistics

Speer Gold Dots, Winchester PDX1 and Hydrashok in my 9, .40 and .45
When I carry any of my 10mm I usually have it loaded with Black Talons.
As far as range ammo go its usually reloads.

Ty MrOrtega... never seen the Speer Short Barrel but will give it a try in the EDC (xdm40 compact).

Went to the range and blew through 300 rounds of Precision Cartridge reloads. No misfires, loaded well enough. Save your brass and take it back to Mr Dennis and he may show you his bad Unimog. Range boxes are cheap if you buy direct.

Thanks. I forgot to mention I use 135gr GDHP Short Barrel in my SP101 .357 magnum. It's Speer stock number is 23917.
