    Recent experience with those same individuals, as well as legacy media standards, lead me to believe a single denunciation will not be enough. Not sure about what the upper limit for acceptance is, but it seems that 10s of denunciations, at least, are required for grudging acceptance
    Right. I think it’s fair to hold them to their own standards. Failing to interpret the President’s actions in the least charitable way, and then condemning people for not sufficiently disavowing him for it means you agree with the racist, sexist, homophobic, bigoted, xenophobic policy as uncharitably interpreted.

    I think it’s fair to make them signal their disavowal to the same standards they imposed. Probably instead of disavowing/denouncing the President for displaying a deeply internal racist, bigoted view of minorities, they’ll make excuses. You know, he’s a product of his era. It’s not his fault. You just have to let some things go.

    He promised student loan forgiveness in the amount of 50k and just rejected the proposal saying he couldn’t do it. Liberal arts types are in full meltdown. I myself am a little peeved bc after he got elected I was like “ at least my student loans will be forgiven”

    Ugh ya I didn’t vote for him but I’m still annoyed. The silver lining just got rejected.
    Thankfully. It’s not my debt. It’s yours. You pay it.

    “Bringing back?” :rofl::rofl::rofl:
    As in making casual racism okay again. The activist left, including the press, the establishment, imagined they saw it in every penumbra of the Trump administration. Now with their own guy in office blathering it openly, it’s like they are incapable of, either noticing it, or calling it out the same way they did for Trump. That kinda tells me the people digging through the shadows of every Trump action, looking for anything they can forge into a racist narrative, don’t really give a flying **** about ending it.

    Racism (if it still exists) is not something the Fed Gov at this point should be involved in "solving." Most prejudice is earned via life experience these days IMHO. Gov should just treat everyone the same (themselves included) and call it a day, simple.

    I think you’re confusing stereotyping with racism. They’re not the same things. People, groups, often earn their stereotypes to some extent. Insisting they apply generally despite evidence to the contrary is where stereotypes become racist. Those FBI statistics aren’t derived from the color of one’s skin. It’s true enough that they indicate a systemic problem. To insist it’s primarily caused by race would be racist. To suspect that it has more to do with culture and economic status evolved from oppression, and the welfare state is a reasonable conclusion, however.

    I get that. I totally do. I took thatt on and I don’t have a lot 10k left on 2 bachelors degrees between me and the wife. But looking on the bright side I was at least hopeful that we would benefit from the forgiveness promised

    Week 16.....still nothing.
    If one thinks that from January 20th or whatever February 27th is 16 weeks I highly doubt I can point out anything no matter how good it was Biden did that would be acceptable!

    Maybe if he flushed himself down the toilet we could get on board with it.

    It only feels like it's been longer than it has.
    Well I know we're only 36 weeks into this, but I can honestly say that now that I've had time to compare 26 weeks of Biden gives me more ulcers then 16 weeks of trump. That still doesn't mean I accept the premise that he has done nothing right

    Okay okay not real ulcers but you know what I mean

    Don’t worry March 4, I hear Trump will be sworn back into office.
