I like it the way it is. Kinda adds a little something that makes the site stand out from others. I personally have never neg repped anybody, but I like that feature too.:twocents:

I like it because it allows me to give an extra "thumbs up" for an exceptionally good post, or for help "above and beyond". I've never given a neg rep and, to be honest, could give a rodent's rectum if I get one.

Plus it still is used for good, when people actually make quality informative posts.

I don't think this needs micro managed, my :twocents:

I haven't been here long, but I've given positive rep many times for posts that were very useful to me, or just straight up made me laugh out loud.

I've only given negative rep once, and iirc, it was for a completely uncalled for personal attack on a person. Attacking an idea is one thing, attacking a person is not.

+1. It is a part of the INGO culture. Does it get some abuse? Sure it does. It also adds some fun to the daily interactions and probably keeps people coming back. INGO is about the only gun forum I now spend any appreciable time on. I say keep it!

Well said! and I agree, I would rep you but you know I'm out of rep for the next 24 hours! :D

I would say if anything should be changed, it is that the weight factor of those with tons of ref should be lower. But I don't see a problem with it.

It is nice to occasionally get a thanks for some post that people enjoyed.
