Let me give a recommendation to not watch.

Goliath. Billy Bob Thornton as a burned out civil litigator.

    1st Season. Pretty good.
2nd Season. Decent, but getting weird.
3rd Season. Quit before 1/2 in. Weird "Twin Peaks" type surreal stuff, but making less sense, ultra slow, super dark, depressing...no reason to watch.

Other than "super slow", that description sounds like more of a recommendation than a warning to steer clear.

There's a new season of "You". Cool psycho/poonhound/killer series.

Watched squid games.....it's terrible, don't bother.

I really liked "You." Looking forward to see season 3.

I've been watching Hightown, American Rust and Dopesick as episodes are released weekly.

The comedy and the constant dumping on fake ridiculous California people is my favorite part of that show.

Scrounged up a copy of Dune the other day, I think it's on HBO Max. It was freaking *sweet*. Looks amazing, no shoehorned woke crap, totally unafraid of going full sci-fi weirdness. Love the design work, imagination, and the way all the tech looks. It's advanced, but it all has a chunky, heavy-engineering analog vibe. Very cool.

Episode 1 of the long awaited Yellowstone season 4 was on last night.

    Wow. It did not disappoint...
What happened to the kid looking for the lug nuts? :dunno:

His mom clearly got smoked, but he was down in the ditch when the chootin started.

I finished watching Monk. It was better than I expected. I did get kind of attached to the characters. The Trudy episodes were a bit emotional to me at times.

I have been watching Burn Notice the last week or so. I really have been enjoying it. Very entertaining, fast paced. hot chicks....

I am always looking for something of the same ilk as Monk and Burn Notice. Crime shows that are not too violent or gory, which is hard to find. @Expat, have you watched Psych? It's a bit silly and weird at times (OK, a lot of times), but still a pretty decent not-too serious crime show.
