Altered Carbon. If you liked Blade Runner, you'll like that series. Ultra-violent, and STRONG sexual content. Not for kids.

We've been watching Altered Carbon. I'm not hooked but my husband seems to be enjoying it.

I watched episode 1 of Norsemen last night.

Absolutely hilarious. Seriously. Give it a whirl. #1 is only 30 mins. Anyone of y'all can handle that.

Especially check it out if you like Monty Python.

Fighting season on Netflix is a good 6-episode, ~6-hr look into some real fire-fights in Afghanistan and behind-the-scenes looks at what goes into a mission and what goes into the decision making process and rules of engagement. IE, you can't just send mortars out until you get air-clearance because if your mortar happens to hit an Apache overhead you just killed friendlies, and caused a really big stir. Likewise, there is a lot of what goes into the decision to strike a target; you can have verified intel that this guy is a Taliban leader, but if he is with 20 other people you can't identify as enemy, you aren't getting clearance to strike him...

Very well done....I agree....Tense and Goodman was great in it...The chick was too....

I won't spoil it, but here's me watching that movie:

    No......yes......no......yes.....no....yes.......

They almost worked a little too hard to force you to vacillate in your understanding the overall situation. In the end, it fit together, but some of the characters motivations didn't quite seem real.

Ozark was very good but way too few episodes! I am also waiting for more to be released.

My husband is enjoying Altered Carbon.

It was decent for a lore type in modern times movie, but their were definitely a couple parts where i may have slightly sped up to the next action sequence.

I watched all of that this week. It was very good.

Yeah, this one is a mind-****. I'm trying to figure out if they're going to do a season 2, and how exactly they would do it. I mean the main guy, technically is no longer the "main" guy, because he gave back his you-know-what back to the original owner. So do you just plug in a new guy and keep it moving? That would just seem weird.
