Neon Genesis Evangelion has now released on Netflix with the new dub. I'm reading somewhat complimentary things about the new voice actors... but also a longing for the originals that did it great.

Also, they didn't get the rights to "Fly me to the Moon" for the ED. Wow.

Let's just say that having been to Baltimore a few times, turns out sticking to the Inner Harbor, Johns Hopkins, Camden Yards and Fort McHenry probably wasn't a bad idea.

Speaking of Charm City, I wish that Homicide: Life on the Street was streaming somewhere. Anywhere.

    That was a GREAT show.

Moonlighting? Like Cybill Shepard and Bruce Willis, "Moonlighting?" Geez, so I imagine you have Remington Steele and Riptide queued up too?

Let's not go to the extremes here. Sure, I really like Moonlighting. The quick banter between the two, all the breaking the fourth wall, Cybill's hair lighting... what's not to love?

    But the other two? Meh.

Maybe if I can find Scarecrow and Mrs. King...

I'll take Simon and Simon, The Fall Guy, and Spenser for Hire.

I, admittedly, liked Riptide. Loved the Helicopter. It's #3, after Airwolf and TC's.

At least Airwolf was maintained because of the CIA footing the bill.
Riptide? No way they charged enough to maintain even that old beast.

Saw one of them, being used as a skycrane here at the mill. It's expensive. But it was cheaper than trying to get a huge crane in an impossible place, and all the set-up/take-down time.
