Bowtech 82nd Airborne for archery season.

If I still have a buck tag after that, it'll be the AR-15 chambered in .458 SOCOM for firearms season.

If I still have a buck tag after that, it'll be the Thompson Center Omega Z5 topped with a Nikon Omega scope for muzzleloader season.

Deer fear it. Trees shiver when it passes by. Best way to catch it by surprise is to give it a sandwich. Otherwise, death awaits.:runaway:

Bow season: This will be my first season hunting with a bow. I'll be starting the urban season here pretty soon. My dad's friend is taking me, so I'll use whatever he brings for me.

Firearms: My Ruger 77/44 in 44mag with a Nikon 2x-7x Prostaff scope. Bagged a button buck last year with it and am hoping for something a little bigger this year.

I'd recommend that you make sure that the bow is the right draw length for you, and you definitely need to start practicing with it very soon. Since I have no access to an urban deer zone, I cannot start archery hunting until October 1, yet I always try to start my DAILY practicing a full two months prior to that on August 1.

    Good luck. :)

I'm going with the Marlin 1894 in .44 mag. We got on a predation permit, so there's always the .308. I have a Rossi single shot 12 guage that is pretty handy too. When I get the food part finished, I'll bowhunt.
